And since NYC never sleeps don’t forget to wrap-up the evening with a 4:00 am run to one of our real NYC diners where you can order anything imaginable while watching the club goers stumble in on their way home, or in the summer – to the beach in order to recover.

It’s not just the dinner and the club scene that makes NYC so Transgender friendly. Our city is host to several major Transgender health centers as well as a host of medical and personal practitioners who guide you at every step of your journey. Read on …

The NYC Nightlife Scene – Bars and Nightclubs

So with nightlife in mind, lets get started with a fabulous master list of night-spots as vetted by our club-member Mellisa Green ( mgreenhottie@gmail.com ). As Mellissa points out:

“My advice is to quickly make friends with the bartender in any place you go. Introduce yourself – I’ve never had a bad experience and now you have a friend the next time that you come in.”

West Village:

Monster Bar ( gay majority) – upstairs piano bar , sing along show tunes and pop songs, downstairs disco. Great Bloody Mary’s!

Duplex ( mixed crowd)- sing along piano bar, and upstairs DJ, sometimes shows.

Henrietta Hudson’s – Lesbian bar, Latin dancing Wednesdays, Fri /Sat dancing

The Stonewall – ( gay majority) downstairs pool table/ bar, upstairs shows- National Historic Landmark.
